she’s actually cinderella
….sitting and contemplating my deep and meaningful poetry I guess.
Monday has rolled around again and it's the start of another (hopefully) productive week!
For the last week I have been writing a 10,000 word story for a Mills & Boon competition - Tempted To Write. The competition set 10 questions to get you thinking about your character and their reactions to different situations. You could read the other entrants answers and this was very interesting. I had never written anything of this length before and I found it challenging, but enjoyable. The fellow entrants that I have met on Twitter and Facebook have all been supportive of each other - talk about girl power!
It is only in the last couple of years that I have started writing after thinking about it for far too long.
My late Father was a successful journalist and editor of a local evening newspaper. Growing up, books were a huge part of my life and many a night we would share a bottle of Chianti and enjoy whatever we were reading.
I know that it's far too early in the day, but I would like to raise a glass to all the other authors starting another creative week!
